The 5th World Congress of Paediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery in Cairns promises to be an exciting event in our calendar! The 2-day Intensive Care / Anaesthesia / Perfusion sub-specialty satellite (on Monday and Tuesday) will feature keynote talks from a host of international experts in their fields, as well as the half-day mini-congress “Risky Business”. This satellite is being held in conjunction with the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Society (PCICS). In addition, the main congress (Wednesday to Friday) will include a host of hands-on sessions, keynote and abstract presentations on cardiac intensive care.

The PCICS is an international society which promotes education, research and collaboration between healthcare professionals involved in the care of children with heart disease. Membership of the Society offers you opportunities to discounted registration to annual symposia (for more information go to

We would like to offer existing and new PCICS members a $50US (or $70 AUD) reduction in the registration fee.

If you are already a PCICS member please click here for the reduced registration fee. If you are not a PCICS member and would like to join please click here. This will then entitle you to the reduced registration fee. The joining fee for PCICS is $100US for Physicians, and $50US for non-physicians.
