The planning for the detailed program has advanced substantially and the speaker's list is almost complete and will be published on the website in the near future - so stay tuned.

The 1400 abstracts have been carefully assessed with more than 180 accepted for oral presentation and well over 1000 for poster presentation....

Invitation to WSPCHS at the World Congress

The World Society for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery will hold its second biennial scientific meeting in conjunction with the World Congress.

The meeting will include the Stella Van Praagh lecture (to be delivered by Professor Robert Anderson) as well as the Aldo R Castaneda lecture, which will be given by Professor Roger Mee. The main topic that will be discussed will be Atrio-ventricular Septal Defect (AV Canal) and there will be a strong emphasis on teaching for junior surgeons and other delegates. PACHDA Meeting News

We are pleased to report that there will be a half day meeting of the Pan Arab Congenital Heart Disease Association (PACHDA) during the congress. The program for this meeting will be advertised on the Congress Website in the near future, once the speakers have confirmed their participation."
