An exciting program of specialty symposia and master classes has been put together.

Specialty symposia, given by leaders in their fields to an expert audience, are planned for topics including congenitally corrected transposition, pulmonary atresia/VSD/MAPCAs and cardiac development.

Symposia on complex reconstruction of the outflow tracts, and outcome analysis have also been scheduled.

Consistent with the educational theme of the meeting, a number of master classes have been scheduled. The experts will be targeting junior physicians, nurses and individuals from outside the specialty wanting a succinct summary of what is important. For example, a master class on aspects of neonatal surgery will run from 1800 to 1900 on Tuesday evening, contextualising some of the material to be presented in the topic session on 'the sick neonate' the following day. 10 minute talks with 5 minutes of question time will run on the quarter hour, in three adjacent rooms allowing delegates to tailor their own learning experience.

We are still finalising the program and will keep you updated with all the developments as we lock in the detail.
