With only two weeks to go, here is some information and great activities you can enjoy at ASBA 2009, in Canberra!!

Simply by visiting all of the Exhibitors and registering your details with them, you will automatically enter the ASBA 2009 Draw to win a $5,000 Travel Voucher to go anywhere in the world!


ASBA 2009 will be providing a shuttle service to transport delegates during the Conference as follows:

  • From all Conference Hotels to the National Convention Centre each morning
  • From the National Convention Centre back to all Conference Hotels at the conclusion of sessions each day
  • To & From all Conference Hotels & Convention Centre to all the Social Functions
  • An airport shuttle to the ASBA Conference Hotels will also be available on Monday, 5 October 2009 only
  • Coach shuttle service timetable available 1 October 2009
  • Delegates that have not booked accommodation through the Conference website will need to notify the Conference Office if they require transport


Delegate Golf Day

You have the opportunity for a game of golf at one of Canberra’s premier courses, the Federal Golf Club. You can view its website at . Federal has offered that men and women golfers with official AGU/WGA handicaps will be able to play in their weekly Wednesday Pro Competition. Tee times have been allocated between 12:25 and 12:53 pm. The cost is $40 per person, payable on the day.

Please note that to meet these tee times, golfers will have to leave the Conference before the morning session finishes. Transport will be provided. A limited number of sets of hire clubs are available at the Club.

Tour of the Senate, Parliament House

Time:   2 pm
Venue: Foyer, Parliament House

Join us for a behind the scenes tour of the House and a detailed look at the Senate. Available for 25 people, contact ICMS to register!

Now's your chance to have a one - on - one with your favourite Exhibitors. Sessions finish at 13:00 Wednesday 7 October but the Exhibition will remain open till 17:00 for delegates to make appointments with Exhibitors onsite.
